Read from February 10 to March 17, 2012

Laird Barron is writing the finest horror fiction this side of the year 2000, and among the very best prior to that. Occultation is even better than the Imago Sequence - the mix of stories and feel is masterful, the pacing is spot on, and the images last.

He has a novel - The Croning - due out later this year and I'm excited to see what he's going to be able to do with a novel-length piece of fiction.
