Scanguards is a nation wide security company which provides bodyguards for the rich and famous. Two Scanguards bodyguards killed the people they were hired to protect then killed themselves. These acts lead the vampire owners of Scanguards to believe someone was trying to destroy the company. Amanry was a vampire cursed with feeling the emotions of everyone around him. Nina was a human determined to make the vampires responsible for the death of her brother, Eddie, pay for his death. Eddie was one of the bodyguards who had killed himself. Amanry found Nina almost irresistible because he could not feel her emotions. She thought he was dangerous and incredibly sexy. How they managed their desires and overcame their personal demons made a riveting story. Needless to say they found and eliminated not only the bad guy but an everlasting love. This is a book about vampires and you do not have a vampire book without blood, sex and violence, but it was good blood, sex and violence.
