Not quite the page turner I was hoping for, but still a classic Gerritsen mystery. The plot line seemed a little predictable to me and I could really do without Rizzoli's parent drama, (it didn't seem pertinent to the storyline). The Evensong school is as unusual as it is special as Maura discovers when she comes to Evensong to spend some time with Julian. Maura and Julian play a much more active role in solving this mystery this time around. And Julian has blossomed at this school. (Julian has really become a character to watch), I look forward to more mysteries with him. But all in all, the plot was intriguing and just when you think you know all the answers, Gerritsen flips it upside down. In this one, nothing is at is appears, and as predictable as you think the ending will's not.
