Pure entertainment.

Reading this reminded me of reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as a kid. I just didn't want to stop reading. From early on I could sense how the story was going to end but that didn't make me want to stop reading. I wanted to go along with Parzival(the main character in R.P.O.) on his journey, because every step of it was a lot of fun to watch and experience.

I must admit that I didn't get most of the 80s references, since I was born in '89. Surely a lot of people give this one a full score just for how nostalgic aspects of the book are to them, and doing that is something I can totally understand. Maybe in 10 years he'll make one about the 90s that I'll absolutely love to bits.

Last night I couldn't put it down until 2am! Ready Player One is really cool, despite me not getting most of the 80s trivia, since I was born in '89."
