The best part about any Clive Cussler book you pick up is that the initial intrigue you start off with will go on until the last page. He keeps you guessing and as always when reading a clive cussler book, i find it very hard to put the book down and go off to work the next day..I keep wondering whats going to come next the whole day through.
I've resorted to reading him only on the weekends - the whole book at one go.

This is my first Oregon book, and i quite like Chairman Juan. The Oregon's crew were a lil more out there than Dirk or Kurt. Cussler's portryal of Juan makes his ego shine through but thats something i've come to love and accept in the Cussler novels.
In this one, you learn a bit about the african coast, about all things maritime and enjoy a thrilling if sometimes unbelievable action and dare-devilry.
But the Dirk Pitt novels will still be my first choice
