I didn't realize, when I grabbed this book, that it was originally published in 1964. I had a tough(ish) time adjusting to some of the terminology (unusual slang, and women constantly calling themselves idiots over the slightest provocation), but otherwise, I quite enjoyed this book. I found it amusing that, despite it being classified as a romance novel - and it was! - not a single kiss was stolen, and not a single torrid sex scene to be found. I was quite refreshed and immediately found another of her books (published in 1950, which I find to be even more interesting, seeing as the book was still [I assume] written for women, but the lifestyle that women were expected to lead back then was so different than what we're used to today... I just find myself reading it with a different frame of mind... But, tangent).

At any rate, I had no major complaints about this book :)
