Blow by blow gunfight after blow by blow gunfight, on and on and on. Clumsy character development - Cassiopeia jumps on the bathroom scales in her swanky hotel room on a holiday in NYC - what woman in her right mind would do this? and who has even been to a hotel that has bathroom scales? and what is the purpose of this little gem?? Lazy plot development - Mr Berry obviously wanted to include the historical Blackbeard story so gave Cotton a bit of spare time on the plane so he could check this out on the internet - it added nothing to the storyline. I lost count of the number of times voice was changed - it was too confusing. The story jumped around far too much - sometimes leaving a scene in the middle of the (oh so gripping - not) gunfights to head on down to the Commonwealth headquarters. One star for the interesting history on piracy and privateering.
