God I don't know how to review her books anymore, it's like i'm running out of words and i'don't know what to write anymore, it's like all my reviews are the same.
Well here we go, I liked this story as i liked all her books, the thing is, this author she doesn't write bad stories, for the contrary, i've read at least 6 books and i loved all of them. But between all of them, there are the ones that is better and the ones that aren't that good, still they are good. And for me this book is in this last category. The story is good. But i don't know... sometimes i felt stuck. I missed that emotional roller coaster that are in almost all of her books. And the characters, they are good, but i couldn't relate to them.
BUT there're two diferent things is this book. One that i really loved and the other more or less. The fist is that this book alternated between the heroine pov, the hero pov and the third person. So because of that we were really in deep in this story. We get a view for every point. Witch was very nice. I don't know if she wrote other books like this, but this one really worked. Well it's also clear that we don't have a lot of mystery with the books been writing like this, just because we know what everyone is thinking and felling, but i guess the reason for it is that (and that's the other point that i was talking about)this book is more about the mystery and the suspense than the romance, witch for me was also a new thing, because we had to be in Colt's head to follow the murder case.
So the reason fot my 3 stars is just that this book bein a KA book i expected more. If this was my first one i would definetiley give it 5 stars, but between all her books that i've been reading i can give it 5 because it didn't hold me on the edge so much like Mystery Man, The Gamble or Sweet dreams. So that's the only reason, but don't misunterstand me, this one is good.
