Read in October, 2011, read count: 3

I liked other books by Brandon Mull and this book was as good as his other books. It's about how these two kids from earth find these portals that take them to a different land, making them beyonders. once in the land, they find themselves in danger of the evil magician who rules the land. they then go on a daring quest to not only find a way home, but to save the kingdom from the magicians rule of evil.
It was good book, with different characters with interesting abilities. It had no inappropriate content in it and can easily be read by a 10 or 12 year old. I really like the twist at the end and thought that it was very cunning of the evil magician. I'm am interested how the other books in the series are going to turn out.
