As a former operator in Iraq and Afghanistan, this book was on point, accurate and extremely descriptive of the life and mentality of operators regardless of SEALS or SF. I'm personally of the other persuasion but I loved the book. Chief Kyle managed to tell the world things I have not yet been able to put into words for my wife. Meeting my wife, very shortly after retiring, I didn't know how to explain "me" to her. She understands there is a past but will never truly understand what makes me, me. I don't believe it was the intent of the book, but this will be a 'required' reading for my wife. Between the insight of Chief Kyle and his wife, this may be the first time my wife ever really understands the 15 years before we met and what led up to my retirement and essentially our marriage. If your husband is an operator, operator support or even simply a veteran of Iraq - this is a very insightful read and will give you a better depth of your current relationship. Two Thumbs Up!
