Read from April 16 to 17, 2012

Pros:
- If you're in the mood for typical LMR elements, this will not disappoint.
- The heroine had scummy parents, unlike the usual princess background
- The hero was a bit edgier than usual, being a man-slut sex-addict before being cured by the heroine
- The scenes of the bad guys seemed less pervasive than they have been in other books (I emphasize seemed, though, because as usual, I skipped those pages. But, I got the impression of less skipping than has happened in other books)
- The time the whole story takes is greatly extended compared to other LMR books - the characters are actually given over 6 months to get to know each other! (The tiny amount of time LMR has given her other couples has always been a beef of mine, so this is definitely awesome)

Cons:
- Some of the typical LMR elements are getting beyond tired for me - the erection that won't go away, for one. The saint-heroine is another. I'd like to see LMR experiment with biting sarcasm. The kind that you feel bad about after. In the girls. Just for a blessed relief.
- Some of the typical LMR elements in this particular (guy who has indiscriminate sex) context were really disturbing. For example, the "you don't need to use a condom with me" moment.
- One of the other elements ((view spoiler)[ i.e., the fact that the heroine's childhood injuries made her unable to conceive a child (hide spoiler)]) was given a really disappointing resolution ((view spoiler)[i.e., instead of having a happy childless couple in the epilogue, we're given a cheesy twin-producing IVF miracle. Boo. (hide spoiler)])
