Frazier writes books like a visual artist. He uses words to describe everything - in great detail. That style sometimes lulls you into becoming awash with the words and miss the point of the sentences. So glad I read this in book format as I often found myself going back to previously read sections to pick up the clues that result in full disclosures later in the story. The story itself about the two children and their Aunt was obvoiusly sad and often disturbing but the love story and the growth of the children to relate overall made it positive. So many threads of the story were solved by the end but others remained question marks. Not a bad thing - I truly believe a reader she be responsible for bringing their own creative abilities to pull the story together.
