I would have stopped reading this book before I reached half way had it not been for the reasonably intriguing premise that the bones of Jesus might be found. However, I hate stories involving improbable heroics and "lucky" escapes, and after the first couple, I had had enough. The idea that super-human military dudes will simply always prevail, and be able to buy or steal everything they need, and be able to travel at super speeds from one location to another, and be able to take on any disguise they like and fool anyone they like... it's just too much.
OK, so I don't like the genre. I would never manage to sit through a movie version.
There were also plenty of typos and other errors, but I see that as an occupational hazard of self-publishing and a hard thing to eliminate.
Good on you for a big writing and publishing effort, but this novel didn't measure up for me. I won't be looking for the sequel. Sorry.
