really liked it
bookshelves: poetry

I'm not a big reader of poetry, but I liked reading Collin's book of poems. I remember reading The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot in college and it took me nearly two weeks of lecture and discussion to feel like I understood it. Collins is nothing like Eliot, but that is not to say his peoms lack insight and creativity. He uses simple language, creates vivid imagery, and it is easy to get caught up in what seems to be reveries broken up into stanzas. I'll read more of Collins.
