Moving right along, we get a little more backstory. Mr. Jingles' mouse-character (whom I love) is developed, providing a (or is another?) innocent on the cell block. I find the men's attachment to the mouse very believable and I also have no problem buying the "super special mouse" concept at all, for some reason. All the characters are fleshing out well. Billy Wharton, I also totally believe. There are people out there who are just angry and "evil", for whatever reason. Ready for the next one. (I have to wonder if I would be reading as quickly if there were all bound in one book....)
