really liked it

I thought that this book had a very good moral: that you should stop and take a look at how your actions may affect people and outcomes in the future, especially with the environment. Walter, the main character is told by his parents to sort through the trash and make sure to recycle. He doesn't listen and just throws everything in the trash. He goes to sleep, not really caring about what he's done. In his dream, he travels to the future and sees the world completely trashed. There is so much trash that he can't even find his house or any people he knows. It's a complete waste land. When he wakes up he feels terrible for his actions and really wants to change and make the environment a better place. I think this is a good moral for anyone, because we don't realize how our trash can affect the future. It really is important to recycle and to make sure waste goes in the right bin. The future depends on it.
I really liked the illustrations in this book, too. The double-page spreads were so inviting for the reader and the sneak peaks on some of the right hand pages were so interesting. I was just waiting to see what happened next.
