This was more of a brief history of Hitler's life with his cronies and how they came to view Eva Braun. I felt as if the author kept repeating herself over and over, trying to prove that Eva was a politically savvy partner just perfect for Hitler. Eva Braun continues to remain a mystery, the way Hitler wanted it to be. My understanding is the other book, The Lost Life of Eva Braun, published just a little earlier gives a better sense of who this woman really was.
