I have read quite a few of Kinsella's other books, and this one follows the same pattern of romantic comedy that she does so well. There were several instances and madcap situations, banter and imagery that made me literally laugh out loud. There were sweet moments as well, but for the most part this was a fun, light read. It made for a lovely way to spend my evening - because it is certainly a fast read that you won't want to put down.
This is also one of the first books I have ever read that so much "conversation" happens via text, which made for an interesting twist. The plot may be a bit predictable, but getting to that end is what makes it so much fun. And don't worry, there are still surprises along the way!
