I expected so much more out of this book - I thought I would feel something (anything) for the main character, Laurel, but I just didn't. It took me a while to figure out the order of events because it jumped around so much. That may have been the point, but it didn't do it for me. The book is so short that you don't have time to get to know the characters or develop feelings for them, so I was just left feeling like I'd read a story, but not one that I'll remember down the road.

Meaghan Try Crank and its sequel Glass if you haven't already. I think they're both like 400+ pages long with plenty of character development.

Bree I loved the 3 books by Ellen Hopkins, they were excellent...if I ever see someone looking at them in the bookstore I tell them not to hesitate and buy it lol.
