This is a crazy book but I absolutely loved it. I remember as a kid pretending that I lived on the other side of the mirror long before I ever heard anything about this book. Although, my imagination wasn't nearly as fantastical and amazing. As I read through the book, I truly felt as though I had entered into the mind of a child. The book jumps from one scene to the next without the least intro. In fact, it even informs the reader that Alice actually randomly appears in new places. This is just how little kids think. My two year old daughter is always bringing up the most random conversations and I absolutely love it! Keeps me on my toes, just like this story. Can't wait to read it to her when she gets older.
