it was amazing

I picked this book up from the library after reading a glowing review on Five Books. I'm so glad I did! Who would have thought a small book chronicling the daily life of a woman with a rare neurological disorder and her new friendship with a wild woodland snail could be so interesting? I sat down to check it out and realized an hour or so later that I finished the entire book in one sitting. I never realized how amazing and intricate a snail could be. I highly recommend this little book to anyone who enjoys reading about nature and the peace of wild things. (And 10 bonus points to anyone who catches that reference...)
