I loved this book! It had me creeped out & looking behind me in dark rooms! I do not scare easily but this book did the trick. It was a great mix of horror, suspense and twisted events. This book keeps you on your toes from cover to cover. This is the first novel I have read from Andrew Van Wey but I intend to search for more after reading this. The story is something you would expect from a Stephen King novel! Amazing Read!

This book was about a college art professor Dan who is sent a painting at the university that is very dark and unusual with no author, only a note saying "in art, denial". He sets out to discover who has painted it and where it came from. When he brings the painting to his home terrible things start happening to himself and his family. It seems the closer he gets to solving pieces of this puzzle the more trouble finds him. Problems with his children and wife, a mistress who has become obsessed, chaos at work, mixed with his own troubled past and mind.
