really liked it
Read from April 17, 2012 to December 11, 2013

This is the second novel in P&C's Gideon Crew series. I'm a big fan of both authors and although I prefer the Pendergast novels, Gideon is growing on me. As in every P&C novel, there is no shortage of action, suspense, twists and turns. This began a little slow but steadily gained steam. Gideon is a very well-rounded, complex protagonist with a unique (yet believable) skillset. Though I haven't heard official plans for another Gideon novel, without spoiling it, the ending appears to be set up for it. Fun read; I recommend it.
