What I liked about this book:
the concept this novel is based on.
it was a YA novel without any love triangles.
the teenagers were shown to have a normal relationship with at least one parent.
the mythology that came along with the land of Aquinas.
the bad guys weren't demonic evil things, they were fae too and had a perfectly good reason to be bad-they wanted Aquinas.

What I did not like:
the book dragged a bit at the end.
the author told us what was happening rather than showing us.

I think this is a good book for kids in their early teens.
