I genuinely cannot remember if I've read this before. Parts of it seemed very familiar, but others didn't, and I'm going to err on the side of I didn't.

Anyway, this is definitely the weakest of Carsington books, which isn't to say that it doesn't have good points, but it doesn't live up to the standard set by the others. My favorite part of the series as a whole, I think, is how different each of the brothers is and Darius is no exception. Matter-of-fact dude of science gets knocked on his ass by love is a trope I enjoy. And I like Lady Charlotte and I like them together, there was just something lacking that I can't quite identify.

steph You are too far ahead of me. Darn library!

Jess I'm sorry! I almost threw my phone across the room tonight since overdrive wasn't letting me check this one and book five out even though I totally had the available space for them. If that helps. It probably doesn't.

steph No. It doesn't. lol. But I read two other books today while watching the game with the family. So I guess that's ok
