I really wanted to like this book, as I read this story I hoped it would eventually follow it's five star ratings, and be as interesting as I hoped. For me I started getting bored following the three men in present time and the three men in the past all being in a lust fest of rape toward the main character. It would have been nice to have read a little more about their lives and daily events during Matildas and her children's time. With all the jumping back into the past and present I didn't quite understand some of the friction between Matilda and her chidren, I think filling in some of those feelings would have been more interesting than the connection with all these men sexually beating the main character up in medieval and present time. I like to know about my characters if they are good people or bad. I can honestly say I don't know who Jo/Matilda is, except a women who has experienced reincarnation and 6 men who wanted to literally own her body mind and soul.
