Actually, it was kind of cute and I got a few smiles out of it; I also thought that some of it was right on the mark and some of it was in extremely poor taste. Generally, it was just ok.

The afterword made me like the book more, and parts of it were just as funny as the book proper.

It is a parody of the book Goodnight Moon so it does help to be familiar with that book, which I assume the majority of readers are.
