An easy read, but couldn't stand the flat and blandly conversational narrative style. Perhaps I was overly invested in the scifi components of the book, but the whole thing struck me as empty and pointless. None of the three characters were compelling, and while the premise is full of interesting things to think about, we spend so much time with Kathy H's inane ramblings that it just never worked for me. Easy and quick to read, but BLEH.
