really liked it
Read from April 24 to May 13, 2012

I first discovered Christopher Moore through "Lamb..." and found it laugh out loud funny. That may be due to my strict Catholic upbringing, but nonetheless I truly enjoyed that book and highly recommend it.

Since then, I have read a few more of Moore's novels and have enjoyed them, too. This is no exception. I did not find myself laughing out loud, but certainly the story, the characters and the banter between them will bring a smile to your face as you read. There is a message in this book, too, although I did not find it preachy. I don't want to get into that subject too much for fear of giving away too many plot elements, but suffice it to say that I almost wish that this book were true and that there was a way to convince those who lay waste to our planet and the life on it to understand the ramifications of their actions.

I will most definitely seek out more of Moore, and you should too.
