Full of memorable characters and social commentary, Little Dorrit is as enjoyable as Dickens gets. As usual he brings melodrama, unlikely coincidences and improbable occurrences. Yet this does not detract. Mr Meagles, Pancks, Miss Wade, Mrs F.'s aunt, Rigaud, and many more are memorable characters. Above all the title character, little Amy Dorrit, is a ray of sunshine in the grimness of the debtor's prison. Enjoy.
