really liked it

This was a book club choice and honestly I wasn't excited about reading it, but my commitment to my book club is stronger than my reading preference I guess. However, I have to say, this was an exceptionally good read. Though I would not rate it a 5 star as so many did, I would rate it a high 4 star; 4.5 stars would be fair. Despite the enormous amount of research Rebecca Skloot did and the fascinating story of cells, I would have personally liked to read more about Henrietta herself rather than her family. Perhaps I am out here on a limb by myself but despite this I did enjoy this book which reads as a story rather than a research paper, which was my original preconceived thoughts before reading it. I would recommend this book to some, but it is a bit much for others.
