Chloe Sullivan knew she was in for a craptastic summer. Her parents dragged her to their summer home for what she knew would be their last summer ever as a happy family. Cause seriously, Chloe ain't' blind; she knows divorce is on the way, no matter how hard her parents try to put up a friendly front. Depressing herself over lost friends and the betrayal of her father with some young bimbo, Chloe is tired of everything falling apart. So it's no wonder she gets it in her head to help a homeless teenage boy she comes across. Chloe's family life is falling apart, but maybe she can help Logan reconnect with his.

But there's more to Logan than meets the eyes. He's completely responsible for the bad decisions that made him homeless and addicted to drugs...and on the hitlist of the local drug dealer. As a stubborn Chloe forces herself onto a less than willing fixer-upper, Logan comes to realize he does need a little help. As their relationship develops, Chloe sees more in Logan than just the failed football hero with an addiction to herione. He might just have potential and the desire to right his wrongs, but the road won't be easy, as his past haunts their every step and endangers their lives at every wrong turn.

Last Summer was a quick, easy read with some scenes that'll make you gasp and tingle and test the thump-thump of your heartbeat! (Not to mention fan yourself)... Get it on that GoodRead's to-read list if you haven't already. :)

***For those of you that think this summer novel sounds as cool as cherry lemonade, be warned this is New Adult and does contain some drug use and sexual situations. Not recommended for anyone under the age of 17.
