Fairy Tale Interrupted is different from your usual, run-of-the-mill memoir, especially of someone as well-known and well-remembered as John F. Kennedy, Jr. RoseMarie Terenzio clearly adored JFK Jr., but she's not sappy or overly reverent about it. She's real. She doesn't gloss over JFK Jr.'s flaws and shortcomings. At the same time she makes it clear that for the most part, he led a charmed life - everyone wanted a piece of him. I've only read the prologue and a few chapters but I can tell this will be good. JFK Jr.'s life and death was before my time - I'm only 23 - but I'd suggest this book to anyone, even if they know nothing about the Kennedys.
