Read in January, 2012

This is the first Dean Koontz book I ever read and I was a little overwhelmed at first by the 751 pages but found it the perfect book to devour on a plane ride across country. The book started out slow and after about 125 pages, I almost gave up as I just couldn't see where it was going but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. Turns out the story needed the time to develop and once it did - WOW - thrills at every page turn. What a twisted life led by the doctor in this story. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and will for sure check out more of his books!
