I have not read these stories in their original form, in fact, despite being an absolutely huge admirer and fan (yes, these are different things, if you want a definition there are many fine dictionaries available online) of Cory Doctorow i have never read any of his short stories, so i cannot make any comment on their translation (yes translation, i really mean that, comics-books and normal-books employ two very different but not unconnected languages) but the combination of Doctorow and comics (and if i'm at all honest, a free [author approved] download {well worth buying a physical copy though, their were many moments that i really wished i had one} yeah two sets of brackets within brackets, whatcha gonna do?) was irresistible to me, and i did really try to resist, as i wanted to read the original versions first, despite not having read the originals, i'll chance a guess that they're better than these, more full, which is not to say that these feel very truncated, but just a bit, just a tad, just a tiddle, just a lil' bit, just a teensy tiny bit, at least that's the feeling i got, i can't really hold that against them though, it's the nature of the industry (the comic book industry) that comic series, be they ongoing or mini, must have single issue's of no more than a certain length (generally 26 to 30 pages, including the ads) no i don't hold that against the stories, nor Doctorow, nor the brilliant creatives involved in the comicisation of his stories, but i do hold it against the industry, i didn't let it ruin my enjoyment of it as a complete work though, fantastic art, brilliant thought provoking stories, and very incite-full interview/commentaries, not perhaps as well executed in places as it could be, but overall recommended, for fans of comics, sci-fi, doctorow and oddness.
Ranterview over! (rant review)

P.S. sorry for it being a bit.....badly executed.
