It's been a really solid high 3-stars, but just the virtual reality race with Roarke may get it four. :-) Their interactions throughout really "make" these books for me. Humor, sexy, trusting. Purrrfect--which, of course, doesn't exist in real life. Still....
Yup...maybe because of a few specific scenes/conversations...4 stars.
P.S. It IS time for Dallas and Summerset to display (I don't insist on acknowledge :-) more appreciation of one another (because it already is VERY clear that they...at a minimum...respect and, in fact, care about one another.) Still, the humor of the tension between them should not be discounted. I am happy there was some hint of peace between them here.
