it was amazing
bookshelves: financial-crisis-economic
Read from January 25 to February 01, 2012 , read count: 1

Smart, pertinent, informative news on recent national financial follies Lewis reports on Iceland (fishermen);Greece (monks and more);Ireland ("while the Icelandic male used foreign money to conquer foreign places, the Irish male used foreign money to conquer Ireland." p84);Germany ("The Secret Life of Germans"); and California ("Too Fat to Fly", think prop 13 (1978) Schwarzenegger and more.)

It's amusing and horrifying all at once. Americans, take note, California is not a side show.
