I enjoyed the idea of this book. The introduction was a little too "pro-American" for me, insinuating that somehow that kind of opinion needs to be presented to justify the reading of it. I don't feel that to be the case. And while most of the stories are riveting, I find the personal aspect more thought provoking. I don't need to wave a flag while I read it.
This book is wonderful for any open-minded reader who understands that behind any actions, no matter their perception or impact, are individuals who believe they are right. It is a point of view that I think more people need to be exposed to, and for that I think the author is to be commended.
