Reading this book is certainly an eye opener. The book details the 2006 climbing summer of Mt. Everest and the disasterous events. Reading this you wonder why anyone would want to do it (besides "it is there"). More amazing is that Discovery Channel was filming at the same time and you can get the DVD's of the 6-part show and see what you have just read.
