A little difficult to get through because of the writing, but the story does an excellent job of illustrating some of the more important over-arching principles of Buddhism. Can teach anyone, of any religion, quite a bit.

Landan I quite agree with this review. The epiphany at the end was to me a little ridiculous, but there are so many illustrations in here of letting go and accepting the things one cannot change even if they are things we very much want to control (love, children, understanding), that I think to say that there's nothing of value within this book would be pure ignorance.
