it was amazing
bookshelves: 3rd-5th
Read in January, 1994

A girl just shy of ten is 'peculiar' and different' because of her silver eyes and her ability to seemingly make things happen. Book chronicles her moving back in with her mothering and finding out that there are other children like her. I loved this book--it was recommended to me by my librarian in elementary school, who really did not love the fact I read Babysitter's Club. I read it in 4th grade--and that was the year we wrote to our favorite author, and I even got a letter back from the author. A fun book for students to read. Reprint scheduled for 2011, and I swear there was a second book written about this group of kids, but I can’t seem to find it.
