Gaia Moore is a trouble maker. Her mother was murdered and her father is in hiding, she lives with her fathers friends. If you hang out with her you may end up hurt,or dead. But she wont. Gaia Moore is fearless, literaly she was born with out the fear gene to top it of she knows five different kinds of martial arts and is a genius. She spends some nights beeting up muggers. But she isn't invincible. She's seventeen and has a pretty bad social status even though she just moved. Gaia finds a friend, or in this case a friend finds her. A guy friend in a wheel chair. Then she finds a crush, a guy in college named Sam. Finally she finds an enemy. One she's not sure she can beet.

I loved Fearless by Francine Pascal. The author did a good job of creating the Gaia character relisticaly but still making her seem a little out of this world. For example when she and Sam first met she was really shy like a classic teenage girl but she also beet him at a game chess whitch is something no one had seemed to ever do. I recimend this book to anyone above the age of ten.
