I have not finished reading this book but I think it is really interesting and entertaining to read so far. There are a lot of readers who disagree with her extreme parenting but there are also a lot of readers who agree with what she believes. As a 13 year-old girl, I find it amazing of her to be able to point out the differences in both the cultures and parenting methods between the Western culture and the Asian culture or Chinese, to be exact. I have to admit that it has been pretty hard for me not to laugh or giggle while reading. The way she moves between different areas of parenting is absolutely hilarious. Sometimes I think she's over-demanding but then at the end of the day I actually found myself feeling happy for her daughters because they have got a mother who cares for them and is willing to invest her time in parenting and getting her children to be the best they can be. I personally don't disagree with her but I also don't agree with all her methods. I think this book is worth reading and Amy herself has succeeded in transferring her messages to all readers.
