Sasha the mouse is unique. He has a black circle around one of his eyes. He tries vainly to try to cover the circle with flour, but it washes right off. However, the next day he forgets all about his circle when he learns there is cat in the area. Not just any cat: Barnabas. This cat has terrorized these mice before. No one wants to dare get close enough to Barnabas to try to bell him. Sasha wants to try, though. So he comes up with an ingenious plan to put a bell around Barnabas' neck.
