I'm glad I took my time reading this. There was so much going on. The first 1/4 of the book was so boring, but after that it picked up and I couldn't put it down. I read slow instead! lol

So many characters, I know I'll forget most of them by next year when the next book comes out. I appreciate the new "bad guys". Much more 3 dimensional than the "lessers". Also, all the set up for future story lines. There is definitely more to come with certain characters such as Layla/Xcor. That was one connection I didn't see coming. The Saxton/Blay/Qhuinn/Layla/Xcore/Throe thing is so deliciously twisted, I look forward to seeing what Ward does with that.

Oh, and the HEA for Tohr was pretty good too. I enjoyed Lassiter immensely. It ALMOST made me want to read Ward's Angel books or whatever they are called. I'm on the fence. I might want to eventually, I'll probably learn more about the Angels and their purpose. hmmm, decisions decisions.
