I enjoyed this though didn't feel it had the power of some of his other works - at times the memoir-fiction mix felt a bit uneven. However, it brought up intereting insights and questions on both the nature of memory and how childhood memories are affected by adult knowledge, as well as how even apparently forgotten early memories influence the rest of our lives.
