it was amazing
bookshelves: emotions

I really liked this book. It definitely shows that children can get angry as well as adults. The reason why I liked it, is because it shows you a way in which a child handles their emotions. In this case, Sophie handled her anger, by going out to run, and climbing on a tree. Nature helps her calm down. I also really liked it because it shows parents that whenever a child throws a tantrum they don't always need to go after the child to try and calm them down, that children have they're own way to calm themselves down. The illustrations were great!

An activity I would do, whenever I read this book to children, would be for them to show and tell the class what they do whenever they are angry. Kind of like a show and tell.
