Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse, #12)
by Charlaine Harris
The fact that this was Better than the last three or so books made me want to give this five stars. But if I really thought long and hard about it...I would probably give it 4. If I thought even harder about it and if this book had come directly after some of the better in the series like club dead...it would be a 3.5 but since I'm not going to think that much about this I can say it kept me up past midnight and even with the stinker books in the middle, this series holds a special place in my heart. 5 for nostalgia, getting to say goodbye to characters we haven't seen in a while (Quinn), and for my home town in area 5.

I just can't believe this series started out amazing and now it is so deep in the mud, I just don't see any help with it. Very sad!
