An enjoyable series of vignettes on Northern Ghana by the CNN/Multichoice African Journalist for Arts and Culture. Having been in some of the areas, it was not totally alien. Moreover the descriptions of some of the places Akpabli chronicles did make me wish I had been there. There were illustrations, but they seemed very simplistic to me - although that may be that the style doesn't appeal. The printing was not as good as it could have been - partly an issue of Ghanaian printers, I suspect.
