really liked it
Read from November 14 to 18, 2012

This was a fantastic book! I liked how it sorta mirrored the French Revolution but was a completely made up story! I totally did not see that coming! It was a fresh, new idea! It totally lived up to the stantard of 'Princess Academy'.

I adored the writing! It was smooth and fluid with lovely metaphors and mind blowing similes! Shannon Hale thinks up THE BEST SIMILIES in the WHOLE WORLD!!!! How do you do it! Really fantastic!

The characters were good too, I didn't really like it how all the girls were doing EVERYTHING. It was like the guys couldn't seem to think clearly but all the girls could, that always bothers me in a book. They were still great and I loved how Miri dealt with her problems, they were very real and relatable.

Great book Shannon!!
